Try This Against Sinus Headaches
The term “sinus headaches” is somewhat misleading because recent studies have shown that 90% of all self-diagnosed sinus headaches are simple migraines that have nothing to do with the sinus. A sinus infection is called sinusitis. Sinusitis is an inflammation of the sinuses from fungal, bacterial, allergic, viral or autoimmune issues. There are four types of sinusitis which all can cause headaches. If you don't have the symptoms of a sinus infection which are swollen lymph nodes, fever, facial pain, aching teeth or a yellow or green nasal secretion then you don't have sinus headaches.
If you have sinusitis please conduct your doctor immediately for the best possible treatment.
A small infection can be treated at home. If the drainage of your nose is yellow or green you have a stronger infection and consult your doctor. You can take Aspirin or Ibuprofen against the pain. To do something against the infection you can apply warm compresses several times a day, use a nasal spray, increase humidity in your room, take a hot bath and drink a lot of water or tee. Avoid stress, rest and sleep long. This should cour your sinus headaches.
